In addition, the School has developed a multitude of research centers and institutes including Center for Biomolecular Science and Engineering, Center for Games and Playable Media, the Institute for Networking, Information Systems & Technologies, Engineering Research Center for Biomimetic Microelectronic Systems, California Institute of Quantitative Biology (QB3) and the California Institute for Information Technology Research in the Service of Society (CITRIS)
